Website Hosting & Maintenance Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms for website hosting and maintenance services provided by REM Digital Design. By proceeding with hosting services, the client agrees to the terms below.

1. Services Provided
REM Digital Design provides secure website hosting and ongoing maintenance for business websites.
Hosting and maintenance includes: • Secure UK/EU based hosting • SSL certificate setup and renewal •
Website backups (automated) • Plugin and theme updates • WordPress core updates • Uptime
monitoring • Security monitoring • Technical support relating to hosting and website performance

2. Maintenance Scope
Maintenance includes standard technical upkeep and content updates such as text or image changes only. Maintenance does not include: • Page redesigns • Layout or structural design changes • New pages or features • Ecommerce changes • SEO campaigns • Branding or graphic design work These items can be quoted separately if required.

3. Hosting & Maintenance Fee
Annual hosting and maintenance: £399 per year. This must be paid in full in advance each year. There is no monthly payment option. Services begin once payment has been received.

4. Payment Terms
Payment is required annually in advance • Services will not commence or renew until payment is received • Late payment may result in suspension of services • Continued non-payment may result in website suspension after notice All payments are non-refundable once the hosting period has begun.

5. Term & Renewal
This agreement runs on a 12-month term from payment date. It renews annually unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days before renewal. If cancelled, the client is responsible for arranging alternative hosting. Website files can be provided once all outstanding balances are cleared.

6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to: • Provide update requests clearly via email or WhatsApp • Keep login details secure • Ensure website content is legally compliant and owned by them • Avoid third-party interference that may affect hosting stability REM Digital Design is not responsible for issues caused by third-party edits or unauthorised plugins.

7. Performance & Liability
REM Digital Design will take all reasonable steps to maintain uptime, performance, and security. However we cannot guarantee: • 100% uptime • Protection from all cyber threats • Third-party outages or conflicts. We are not liable for any loss of earnings, business interruption, or data loss beyond our control.

8. Backups
Regular backups are performed as a safety measure. Clients remain responsible for their own business data and content.

9. Ownership & Access
The client retains full ownership of their website and domain. If hosting is cancelled and all invoices are settled: • Website files will be released • Migration assistance can be quoted if required

10. Support Hours
Standard support hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm Urgent live-site issues will be prioritised where possible.

11. Acceptance
By proceeding with hosting and maintenance services and making payment, the client confirms acceptance of this agreement.
